| NSUI demands specialist doctors at Batote Hospital | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 18: The Health Wing of National Students Union of India (NSUI) today demanded immediate creation of the post of a B-Grade Physician Specialist at Sher-e-Kashmir Hospital Batote as the whole belt between of Doda, Banihal and Chenani lack the services of a B Grade Specialist. State President of Health Wing Mubashar Mir said that B grade physician is the primary need of masses and also a necessity for providing routine health care services, he added. He said that Batote being a central place connecting all adjoining areas must be provided with a B grade physician so that people of different areas can easily avail the services. It is an administrative lapse that the post of a B grade physician has not been posted in the hospital whereas other posts like anesthesia specialist which does not find much of a purpose in peripheral health setup already exists at SKMH Batote said Mir. State Secretary of NSUI Mohammed .Sajid Malik said that a deputation of health wing has already met Health Minister and apprised him of the demand. MLA of concerned constituency Ashok Kumar has also supported the demand put forth by Health Wing and proposal in this regard has been forwarded to the Health Minister, he said.
