Jammu, Sep 18 : Security forces recovered a haul of arms and ammunition, including Chinese grenades, in twin districts of Jammu region, police sources here today said.
‘’Based on specific information, security forces launched a search last night in Adhang forest area of Reasi district and recovered a cache,’’ sources told UNI adding that the recovery included 230 AK rounds, 2 RPG assembly, one shell with booster, two detonator, three magazines and 230 rounds, five Chinese grenades, six UBGL grenades, one radio set antenna and other miscellaneous items.
Meanwhile, in another search operation, security forces this morning busted a hideout in Mendhar area of bordering Poonch district.
‘’One AK magazine, 25 empty cartridges and one shawl were recovered from Beri Rakh forests of Mendhar area,’’ sources added.
