Jammu, Sept 19- Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, J&K National Panthers Party today called on Hurriyat Conference Chairman, Moulvi Umar Farooq in Srinagar and congratulated him for demonstrating a new vision on the resolution of the Kashmir conflict.
While congratulating him on Id-ul-Fitr, Prof Singh appreciated the stand of Hurriyat Conference Chief in welcoming the return of Kashmiri Pandits back their motherland. Prof Singh also invited the Hurriyat Chief and his team to attend Intra- J&K ‘Heart to Heart’ talks proposed to be held in October, 2009 in Delhi. Mirwaiz expressed his wish for the success of the conference though; he preferred to hold the ‘Heart to Heart Conference in some other place than Islamabad or New Delhi.
Prof Singh hosted an iftar party at Srinagar today.
He also visited Sanaullah Bhat, Ghulam Mohammed Sofi and Ghulam Nabi Shaida Editors-in-Chief of Daily Aftab, Srinagar Times and Wadi Ki Awaz respectively to extend Eid greetings. He visited the family of Javed Qadri, senior leader of the Panthers Party at Pampore to express condolences on the death of his mother.
Prof Singh was accompanied by Syed Rafiq Shah, MLC and General Secretary, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Provincial President, Yousuf Ganai, Vice President, Mehboob Illahi, Public Relations Officer, Jehangir Khan, District President, Kupwara, Mr. Manjoor Ahmed Naik, Provincial General Secretary, Abdul Rashid Para, District President, Budgam, Mohd. Yaqoob Dunoo, District President, Srinagar and H.S. Jamwal, Coordination General Secretary, Kashmir.
