| Batalik students on educational tour | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sep t 19- With an aim to expose Ladakhi children to the cultural diversity, grandeur and economic development of the state, the Army in Ladakh organized an educational cum motivational tour of a group of girl students of remote Batalik area of Ladakh region.
Having witnessed the scenic grandeur of Srinagar the team visited the Martyrs gallery at Udhampur. The children were awe struck on going through the well documented account of the sacrifices made by numerous soldiers while defending the borders. The team today visited Vaishno Devi Shrine and the historical places around Jammu.
