| Razak new SP South | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 19: Following suspension of several police officers in Amandeep murder case investigation, Razak Khan has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Jammu South in place of Mumtaz Ahmed.
Mumtaz was among six officers including the Senior Superintendent of Police Jammu Manohar Singh suspended in the murder investigation case late Friday evening. The new SP South Razak Khan was earlier Additional SP Reasi.
Kulwant Singh Jasrotia has been posted as new Sub Divisional Police Officer Gandhi Nagar while Bashir Ahmed Naaz has been posted as SP CID (SS).
Meanwhile, the former MLC Deepender Kaur, the mother of deceased Amandeep Singh who murdered late last month has expressed her confidence in police investigation after suspension of the key officers. She also hailed the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for timely intervention and decision to sack the Police officers for tampering with the murder case evidence.
