Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 20: The rotary club, SIDCO, Bari Brahmana today organized a free medical check up camp at girls middle school, Smailpur, in cooperation with 38th Battalion of CRPF, post graduate doctors of government medical college, Jammu and Dr. Gurmeet Singh of Savera. Minister for industries and commerce Surjit Singh Salathia, inaugurated the camp in presence of commandant 38th Battalion CRPF Ajay Kumar Vashishth, Dr. Gurmeet Singh, president rotary club RTN Kewal Krishan Gupta, secretary RTN Balbir Singh, Director RTN Naresh Gupta, RTN Sanjeev Jain, Dr. Narinder Singh, Dr. Talib Hussain, Dr. Suresh Kotwal, Dr. Monica and Dr. Ashok Dhillon, offered their services. Speaking on the occasion Salathia appreciated the efforts of Rotary Club SIDCO Bari Brahamana in organizing this camp for rural residents. About 500 people from nearby villages attended the camp where apart from free checkup and diagnosis, free medicines worth about rupees eighty thousands were distributed to the general, dental, gynaecological and paediatric patients. Local villagers enthusiastically appreciated the efforts of club in organizing this camp and requested for more such initiative in future.
