| Malik distributes regularization orders to 120 ReTs at Mahore | | | Early Times Report REASI, SEPTEMBER 20 - Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment Mr. Abdul Gani Malik distributed 120 orders of Regularization of Rehbar-e-Taleem/3rd teacher to those teachers who have completed a period of five years of satisfactory service in the department at Mahore yesterday. The orders included 84 ReT of Mahore Tehsil and 36 of Chassana. The offices of different departments and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
The Minister also convened a public darbar in which the people put forth their problems regarding the functioning of Anganwadi centres, shortage of drinking water, power supply, shortage of staff to man the essential departments of Education, Health etc.
The Minister asked the PHE & PDD officers to ensure uninterrupted drinking water and power supply to the people of the region especially during the festival days. He said that the government is committed to provide the basic amenities to the people of the state particularly to the far-flung and rural area.
The Minister asked the Social Welfare officers to ensure that all the Anganwadi centres in the rural pockets are functioning properly. He asked them to conduct tours so that they can personally monitor the functioning of the centres on the ground. He asked all the officers to keep close vigil on the services being provided to the people, adding that no laxity will be allowed at any cost on this front.
Mr. Malik said that the present government is working concertedly to upgrade the facilities in education and health sectors. He said that every effort is afoot to consolidate the existing infrastructure in education sector so that the education of the students does not suffer for want of staff. He said that the regularization of ReTs is a step, in this direction and added that the government will come out with a comprehensive employment policy so that the unemployed youth of the state are benefitted.
Later, the Minister also visited an awareness programme being organized by the Agriculture department to sensitise the farmers about the use of bio fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers for a good yield of vegetables. The Minister stressed on the farmers to shift to organic farming which is the need of the day and is also more remunerative. He asked them to avail the government schemes like agriculture loans etc for maximizing their profit. He also distributed bio-fertilizer among the participating farmers for use in vegetable cultivation.
Chief Agriculture officer, SDO Darmari and other officers of agriculture department were also present on the occasion.
