Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20- The 8-day long, first ever, film acting workshop, organized by Abhiyan, a Jammu based socio-cultural Non-Governmental Organization, concluded here today in which 15 local actors participated. Geeta Khanna, alumni of Film and Television Institute of India conducted the workshop. Speaking on the occasion she said that the workshop has been a tremendous success especially looking at the quality change in the confidence level, improvement of diction, and interest in improvisation in the participants. Shiv Dutt, Chairman of Abhiyan and a well known film maker of the state, said the visible improvement in the acting skills of the participating actors, has proved the need for holding such acting workshops on regular basis. He said that upon the insistence of students, we have decided to extend the workshop by one more week. M Naseem Khan, Director, Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu who was also present at the workshop appreciated the efforts of NGO Abhiyan in organizing such a workshop which enabled the actors to learn the skills involved in acting in a proper way and thus helping the Doordarshan to telecast quality programs to the viewers. The actors who participated in the workshop included Lakshmi Tagotra, Manik Sham Rupa Mehara, Sunil Gupta, Neha Bhardwaj, Pooja, Amit Raina, Amit Sharma, Mahesh Puri, Vishal, Shelly Vashishat, Vansheen, Yastika, Vikram Rajwa and Anjana Mishra,
