| Question Mark ? | | Rangshala’s offering at Amritsar | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 20- Rangshala Theatre Group of Society Jammu staged 'PRASHAN CHINHA' (?) written by Rajneesh Kumar Gupta and directed by Umesh Singh in the ongoing Theatre Festival at Virsa Auditorium, Amritsar. The play revolves round Raaji who is so much fed up with her life. From her birth till date she had gone through bitter experiences of life. She wants to know whether she is a man or woman. Although she had been used to the hatred, lust of people but still she many times asked God that why ‘HE’ had given her less than other man /woman. Climax of the play is such that her mother had gone to Holy Ganga for the Mundan ceremony of her grand son (son of Raaji's brother) where Raaji sees her mother but her mother in spite of Raaji love for family and mother don't want to accept her because she thinks Raaji is a curse for family and not fit for the society. So her mother offered Raaji to dance in the Mundan ceremony of her grand son as it is a tradition/ business that Eunice comes and dances in the functions. Raaji was so much hurtled with the attitude of her family. She asked her mother that like other people why she is hating her as there is no fault of her its the God who had made him like this but in the end Raaji accepts her mother’s invitation ties Ghungroo in her feet and dances in the Mundan. Play comes with a question that why God has taken such a cruel decision by creating Raaji like people whom no one loves, no one cares their feelings, sentiments and emotions. Acting of Manoj Kumar Bhat as Raaji was so much impressive that the audience in the auditorium was spell bound.
