| Kashmir economic summit on Sept 26 | | | New Delhi, Sept 20: Top industrialists, policy makers, scientists and scholars from Jammu and Kashmir will converge here on September 26 to deliberate ways to economically reconstruct the border state.
Organised by Kashyap Progressive Commerce and Commercial Foundation, the day-long 'Kashmir Economic Summit' will be addressed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Corporate Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid.
"The speakers will touch upon the policies aimed at raising the economic profile of the state with emphasis on opportunity creation for the younger generations," KPCC said in a release.
The KPCC summit, an annual feature, will also focus on the necessity to strengthen the partnership between the government and the private players and seek solutions for the future in which development, prosperity, opportunities and social security will play a central role.
