| CPI (M) demands stern action against black marketers, hoarders | | |

Kathua, Sep 21: A day long conference of CPI (M) of district Kathua was held today under the chairmanship of Bishan Dass communist leader here today.
Party activists from Heera Nagar, Basholi and Kathua tehsils participated in the conference.
Sham Prasad Kesar regional secretary in his inaugural address presented detailed central committee review report of 15th Lok Sabha election Kesar blamed the policies of central government responsible for price rise viz. pre budget hike in the prices of petrol and diesel, refusal to ban futures trade in essential commodities, weakening the public distribution system, granting permission to export sugar etc.
The conference on the occasion in one voice passed a resolution in favour to ban all features trade in essential commodities and strengthen the public distribution system, strong action against the hoarders and black marketers, withdraw the price hikes in petrol and diesel include pulses, cooking oil, K-oil, vegetables, sugar and other essential items at subsidized rates through PDS. Banarsi Dass, Dharam Singh, VK Vaid, Mohinder Singh, OP Khajuria Raj Kumar and Jagdish Chander senior leaders also addressed the conference.
