| GoC-in-C Northern Command pays farewell visit to PCDA | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sep 22- Lt. Gen. P C Bhardwaj, COC-in-C Northern Command paid a farewell visit to PCDA, Northern Command office at Satwari here today. He was received by Gautam Sen, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts, Northern Command and his senior officers. Addressing the farewell function GOC-in-C mentioned on the synergy in functions between Army Northern Command and PCDA, NC office and expressed his desire to strengthening the joint efforts for optimum utilization of funds for operational efficiency of the Armed Forces in J&K. Batalik students interact with Dy. GOC Jammu, Sept 22- A group of students from Batalik (Ladakh), who are currently on an education- cum- motivational organized by Army, visited city of temples, holy Vaishno Devi Shrine in Shivaliks and Martyrs Gallery at Uhdampur. The young children got an opportunity to interact with Deputy GOC, HQ 26 Infantry Division and shared their experiences. The participating children expressed their joy and happiness and thanked the Army for providing them this opportunity to learn about other religions and progress India has made in various fields, since Independence. This being their maiden experience, outside Ladakh region, the children were really enthusiastic to visit other tourist places all over India.
