| Conduct inspection of Devak College within four weeks: HC directs SIT | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 22-The Jammu and Kashmir High Court today directed respondent State Institute of Education to ensure inspection through inspection committee to see whether Devak College of Education is entitled to NOC. The findings negative or affirmative shall be communicated to the petitioner’s college within a period of four weeks the Court directed. It shall be open for the petitioners to agitate other relief only when NOC is granted, the Court added. These directions were passed by Justice Mohammed Yaqoob Mir after hearing Advocate Shahzad Azad appeared for the petitioner’s college. The petitioner claimed that after completing all the formalities and raising the required infrastructure the Government was approached for issuance of NOC. The State Institute of Education (SIE) vide its letter dated April 26, 2007 had asked the Principal to conduct inspection of the institution which has not been conducted till date despite repeated requests. q cudted OF T but inspection has not been conducted despite repeated requests. After the inspection decision has to be taken in terms of the guidelines in vogue whether the petitioner’s institute is entitled to NOC or not, the petitioner submitted and prayed for issuance of directions to the respondents to conduct inspection.
