| JKSIUF hails govt.’s swift action in Amandeep’s murder case | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 22- J&K Sikh Intellectual United Forum (JKSIUF) today appreciated the swift action on the part by the Omar led State Government over fudging of evidence in Amandeep Singh murder case.
Addressing media persons here today, Rangil singh, former Minister and senior Sikh leader said that this action of the government will send a strong signal to those who are bent upon demolishing the basic tenets of civil society for their petty interest.
Harbans Singh, former minister and senior National Conference leader also complimented the coalition government for constituting Special Investigation Team consisting highly competent end professional officers to probe fudging incident. The forum expressed full faith in the newly constituted SIT.
Among others who spoke during press conference were Surinder Singh, former president of the Bar Association Jammu, Makhan Singh, DSP (retd), Jagjit Singh Wazir and Avtar Singh Khalsa.
