Hail storm lashed the crops in Bandipore,
DC review the situation

Bandipore, September 22- Deputy Commissioner, Bandipore, Mr. M.S. Sood today took stock of the damages caused to the standing paddy crops and fruit production due the hail storm and stormy rains in a dozen of villages of Bandipore district, on Monday.

The meeting expressed grief over the damages to the crops and expressed sympathies with the effected farmers.

Deputy Commissioner directed the Revenue, Agriculture and Horticulture departments to gear up their field agencies immediately and assess the losses caused to the crops in the affected areas. He asked the concerned departments to submit the report of damages as soon as possible to enable the government for taking necessary relief measures for the effected farmers.
