| ET Exclusive | | Infiltration on at LoC | | EARLYT IMES RPEORTER JAMMU | JULY 17 There have been cases of infiltration bid from across the LOC the last few days in a similar incident. One more group of intruders has been reportedly succeeded in intrusion from across the Poonch. According to the reports of CID special branch, at the dead of Sunday night a group comprised of 15-20 militants , heavily equipped with sophisticated weapon, crossed from KagaGali in Balakote sector of Poonch district and entered into Indian territory. The matter came into light when the patrolling to their surprise found the fencing wires broken. According to highly placed sources, these militants can belong to the L.E.T militant’s outfit. a massive search drive have been jointly launched to the Army and police in the area, which culminated into surprise raids at the suspected places, but no arrest was made till the last reports came. It is pertinent to mention here that last night an attack was being made by militants on police station Poonch in which one constable was killed. According to confirmed reports the militants were in large numbers who easily fled away from the spot taking the advantage of darkness. This gruesome incident reflects step up in militant activities in the area. According to reliable sources, a large number of militants have been waiting to cross into Indian Territory. Also these militants have got special directions to increase the number of attacks in the region in order to realize their presence in the area. In a similar incident an intrusion by two terrorist groups by militants succeeded near Rajouri border. Although the officials don’t agree on the intrusion but hey but they have confessed the news of intrusion. Special branch of CID said that there was authentic information about infiltration and consequently the vigilance was intensified at Poonch border but terrorists succeeded through loop-holes in security system. Army has condoned many suspected places in this record. According to reports, militants are now targeting the tourists in order to sabotage tourism industry. According to Army sources, keeping in view recent attack on terrorists and infiltration vigilance at border has been intensified.
