| Raghunath Bazaar traders felicitates Ashok Kahjuria | | | Early Times report

Raghunath Bazar Businessmen Association President Baldev Khullar, accompanied by senior executive members Sushil Jain, M.M. Sharma, Vipan Jandial and R. Sharma visited BJP headquarters to felicitate BJP State President & MLA Jammu East Ashok Khajuria for his efforts in getting Rs 2 crore sanctioned for the development of Raghunath bazar. The association president and others, on this occasion, garlanded Khajuria and expressed their gratitude for his contribution and concern for the development of Raghunath bazar and other areas of the Jammu city.
Ashok Khajuria, while interacting with the association president Baldev Khullar, said that being elected representative of Jammu East constituency, it is his duty to see that the residential and commercial areas get proper attention of the government in developmental activities. He said Raghunath bazar is one of the oldest areas of Jammu city where lakhs of pilgrims and tourists visit every year which in turn promotes business and communal harmony. He said funds available with a MLA are not adequate for meeting the needs of every area of the constituency and hence provision of additional funds is required to be allotted from the government. He said it was his priority to get more and more funds for the constituency besides CDF and rupees two crores sanctioned during the District Development Board meeting is the out come of his efforts in this regard.
Khajuria assured the Association president that he will be working to ensure that the Jammu city, which have the centuries old bazars and business establishments are given special attention and get a face lift.
