| Farooq for resumption of dialogue | | | Early Times Report Srinagar: Pressing for resumption of dialogue between India and Pakistan, Union Minister Farooq Abdullah today said it is "imperative" for everlasting peace in the sub-continent. "We are hopeful that the leadership in India and Pakistan will resume the dialogue process soon to address all the outstanding issues and strengthening the bond of friendship," the Union minister for new and renewable energy said here. Addressing the party workers, ruling National Conference chief Abdullah said "friendship between India and Pakistan is imperative for everlasting peace in the sub-continent in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular". He also said that the leadership of the two countries should leave behind their animosity and restart the dialogue process.
