| Malik inaugurates entrepreneurship awareness programme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 24: The Entrepreneur Development Cell (EDC) of Government College of Engineering and Technology, organized a “three day workshop on entrepreneurship awareness programme” sponsored by AICTE with effect from September 24-26, 2009 at New GCET campus, Chak Bhalwal, Jammu was inaugurated by Minister for Higher Education Abdul Gani Malik here today. Director, DDE, University of Jammu Meenakshi Kilam principal, GCET alongwith staff members of the College attended the function. During the workshop there were expert lectures by professionals successful entrepreneurs and bankers to educate the participating students about various schemes of government and other agencies for setting up their own units to generate employment opportunities for self and others as well. The main objective of the workshop is to help students to prepare them with requisite skills and to make them employable in this competitive world.
