Omar sanctions Rs.32 lakh to 119 critically ill patients

SRINAGAR,SEPTEMBER 25- Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah has sanctioned over Rs.32 lakh financial assistance in favour of 119 patients critically ill to enable them to get advance medical treatment requiring substantial amount. These include 29 cancer patients, 25 heart patients, 09 renal failure patients and 24 physically challenged persons.
Mr. Omar also sanctioned over Rs. 1.10 lakh financial help in favour of 22 needy and destitute.
The beneficiaries had approached the Chief Minister for the financial help and after receiving the genuinety report of the request made to him, Mr. Omer sanctioned the amount from the Chief Minister’s relief fund.
