| JKSRTC employees strike enters 32nd day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sep 26 : The ongoing strike of Jammu and Kashmir State Road Transport Corporation (JKSRTC) today entered the 32nd consecutive day here.Agitating over release of their pending wages, benefits under Sixth Pay Commission, regularisation, hundreds of employees staged sit in outside their Corporation Head Officer at Bikram Chowk this morning.
''It is unfortunate that state government is paying no attention to our long pending demands and we are being forced to lead life in starvation,'' one of the employees told.
The employees however, alleged that government is not serious in running the Corporation and that could be the reason that no attention is being paid to the employees demands.
A fleet of buses and truck was brought halt after a mass agitation started by the hundreds of employees of J&K SRTC across the state.
