| Army conducts free medical/veterinary camps under Op Sadbhavana | | | Early Times Report Jammu Sept 26 A Field Regiment of Dah Mountain Artillery Brigade conducted a medical camp under Operation Sadbhavana today at village Kangota of Naushera sub division and neighbouring villages. Commander Dah Artillery Brigade in his inaugural address assured of continued efforts by the Army on health care in the region. He advised the villagers to maintain hygiene and sanitation in their neighbourhood and surrounding areas. Chief Medical Officer, Nowshera provided doctors and lady doctors during the camp to augment the efforts of the Army doctors of Dah Division. Approximately 400 villagers which included a large number of Geriatric patients, expectant mothers, infants and children availed medical advice and free treatment during the camp. Meanwhile another free medical / veterinary camp was organized at Thandi Kasi in Rajouri Sector under the aegis of Keri Battalion as part of Sadbhavana project. Approximately 870 people and 480 animals from neighboring villages benefited from the camp, which had the services of a Medical Specialist, Lady Medical Officer, Dentist and Veterinary Officer. Children under five years of age were immunized with Hepatitis-B vaccine. Refreshments was also provided for all civilians which was highly appreciated.
