| Awareness programme on ‘Dowry system and drug addiction’ held | | |

Volunteers of National Social Service (NSS) today organised a programme in Degree College Kathua on the topic ‘Dowry system and drug addiction’ to generate due awareness among the younger generation.
Dr A K Molhotra attended the occasion as chief guest and inaugurated the programme by lighting the traditional lamp. Atleast 150 students took part in this competition and put for their opinions on dowry system and drugs addiction.
The students of NSS appealed the state government to put a check upon the drug menace by sentencing the drug peddlers severely. Dr Molhotra who was the chief guest on this occasion also spoke on the subject and appreciated the efforts of the participants. He also gave away prizes to the winners who were adjudged by the panel of judges.
On this occasion Dr C P Sharma, Prof Sumnesh Singh Jasrotia, Prof Raj Kiran etc are presented
