| TADA court adjourns hearing on Rubiya Sayed kidnapping case | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 26- TADA Court today again adjourned the case relating to the kidnapping of Dr. Rubiya Sayed daughter for former Union Home Minister and state Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayed in December 1989 and killing of five air force personnel due to the strike call given by the Bar Association here. The Presiding Officer has, however, issued a docket to the jail authority to produce one of the alleged accused Rafiq alias Nani Ji, involved in both the cases and presently lodged in Udhampur jail, on the next date of hearing as the accused was not presented by the authority today. JKLF Supremo Mohammed Yaseen Malik, Javid Mir alias Nalka, Iqbal Gandroo, Showkat Bakshi, Manzoor Ahmed Sofi, Mehraj-ud-Din, Wajahat Bashir, Yaqoob Pandit and Zaman involved in kidnapping of Dr. Rubiya and killing of five air force personnel appeared in the Court today. Both these cases were transferred to country’s prime investigating agency, Central Bureau of Investigation which after completion of the investigation presented challan in the Court of TADA. The cases were pending before the Court at the stage of framing charges/ discharges for the last so many years. The Court had fixed the cases for arguments today but due to the strike call given by the Bar Association the case was adjourned again. JNF
