Jammu, Sept 27: The J&K cultural development forum (CDF) Trikuta Nagar, organized a cultural procession and Jhankies were taken out from Shiv Mandir of sector 3, and after passing through the main roads culminated at main market.
The Jhankies were tastefully designed and decorated devotees standing on both sides of the route of procession to give applause. Jhankies included Ram Darbar, Mata Durga, small kids representing different culture of J&K state, Ram Lelas, satsung mandlies from different mandirs of Trikuta Nagar, Sadhu Samaj, children of government and private school was special future of prgramme.
The best jhanki was led by Pammi Jamwal, Tikkoo Salathia, Surinder Singh (Sindhu), Balbir Singh (Billo).
The programme was composed and organized by convenor BB Sawhney, Rattan Kapoor, Er SK Sawhney, Prof. Suresh Gupta, Er. Yash Puri, Suresh Gulati, Pammi Jamwal, Tikkoo Salathia, Dr. Raj Bhagat and other. After conclusion of the function Parishad was served to the devotees and participants.
