| KDF organizes meet of various Sikh parties | | |

Jammu, Sept 27: The J&K Khalsa Democratic Front (KDF) organized a meeting of various political parties of Sikh community at Srinagar (Kashmir) in which various issues related to Sikh community were discussed in full. The meeting was held under the agies of Mahant Manjeet singh of Shriomani, Dera Nagali Sahib, Poonch.
The meeting was told that all the issues related with the community which included socio-economic and political development will be taken up by Mahant Manjeet Singh with the authorities as decided unanimously by the parties in the meeting as Mahant has been empowered to take any decision with regard to unity among the parties beside resolution of various other problems of Sikh minority of Kashmir valley.
It was impressed upon all the parties to furnish agenda of demands to Manjeet Singh so that common memorandum be framed and submitted to the government in the forth coming convention to be held in the month of October 2009 at SKICC at Srinagar.
The parties which took part in the meeting were Shriomani Akali Dal, Kashmir, All India Sikh Student Federation, Kashmir, Kashmir Sikh United front, and vice chairman All Gurudwara Parbandhak Board J&K.
