| Court tells DC Samba to look into conduct of Tehsildar | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 28- Taking serious note of the functioning of the Executive Magistrate Tehsildar Samba, Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu BL Bhat has asked the District Magistrate Samba to look into the conduct of Tehsildar concerned in regard to the role roll attributed to him and submits a detail report within one week. The Judge also directed DIG Jammu to make adequate arrangements for safety and security of complainant and his family and also to provide him proper security till he is examined at the trial. Court further directed DIG Jammu to book the culprits from whom threats have been emanating to imperial the safety and security of complainant and his family and ensure that culprits are not permitted to walk with impunity and directed to submit report within a one week. In the application filed by prosecution seeking cancellation of bail as the accused Custodian Clerk Samba, who was caught red-handed by VOJ, on the ground that the accused and his henchmen had subjected to complainant and his family to intimidation and threats of violence action. Upon this, the complainant approached the PP Rakh Ambtali who called the alleged accused to police post on September 5, 2009 and they tried to assault the complainant. They were arrested and complaint u/s 107/151 Cr PC was filed against them before Tehsildar Samba. Reportedly the complaint was summarily dismissed and Executive Magistrate is alleged to have thrown away the complaint.
