| Bhim wants CU VC from Jammu region | | | Early Times Report

Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman, JKNPP and Member, National Integration Council has demanded the nomination of a Vice Chancellor from Jammu region for the Central University in Jammu to show the magnanimity by the Central Government towards the people of Jammu.
Prof. Bhim Singh also demanded to reveal the budget of the two central universities being opened in Jammu and Srinagar. Prof Bhim Singh regretted the cancellation of IIM which he felt was a part of continued discrimination against the people of Jammu by the Central leadership ever since 1947. He however urged the Prime Minister for his personal intervention to set up IIM in Jammu region which is absolute fertile for such institution where students camp walking from any part of India with full security and safety.
Prof. Bhim Singh has also extended exclusive gratitude to five lakh signatories who signed the petition addressed to the Prime Minister on the initiative taken by the Panthers Party and the Panthers Students Union leaders for setting up the Central University in Jammu. Prof Singh also demanded to dealing the headquarters of two Central Universities lest they happened to be two campuses of one university at Jammu and Srinagar.
