| HM associate held in Reasi, 5 Kg RDX among cache recovered at Mahore | | |
JAMMU SEPT-30- An associate of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant outfit was apprehended and on his disclosure some arms and ammunition was recovered from the militants hideout in Reasi area while in another search operation the security forces recovered a cache including 5 kg RDX from a natural type cave in general area of Tharal Nom 2 Km South West of Mahore in Udhampur district today.
An official spokesman said that an active associate of HM outfit identified as Nazir Ahmed son of late Mohammed resident of Thuru was apprehended by Arnas Police today and his disclosure, a joint search operation was launched by the Police and 65 Bn BSF in Ganja Dhok forest area in Arnas.
During the search operation one 12- bore gun and 12 electronic detonators were recovered from the militant hideout.
The reports said that based on own information the forces recovered a cache from a natural cave covered with bushes in general area of Tharak in Mahor. The recoveries include 5 kg RDX, five detonators, two Chinese hand grenades and wire.
