| Ragging leads injuries to two freshers | | |
DODA SEPT-30-Freshers life in Government Degree College has been made a hell by their seniors. There are reports of misbehavior and harassment from the seniors apart from physical beatings.
Two freshers of BA Part Ist had to face the music when their seniors resorted to ragging resulting injures to both the students The injured identified as Jamsheed Ahmed Khan and Raja Rafaqat Ali were the new entrants in the college.
Despite ban on the ragging, this inhuman act is still continuing with authorities watching all this like mute spectators.
There is an imperative need for our educational institutions to make its students literate mentally and physically strong but there is no room for such hooliganism which at some times could take away even the life. It is regretted that despite causing injuries to the two new comers, the College administration has failed to take any action against the erring students. However, sensing the public mood the Police has registered a case against the guilty students.
