The congress led UPA govt. in the centre since it came into power has shown soft corner towards the militants, as it has come under the influence of Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, said BJP’s National spokesman Parkash Javedkar in a press conference held here today.
He said the way government is handling the activities of militants, who are killing people at random clearly shows that govt has bow down before them. Repealing of pota has not only increased the activities but has encouraged them in their nefarious design. But till date no new law came into force to dealt with militancy, he said.
He said, terrorism has no religion as no religion in the world preach hatred between the people of different communities. Throughout the world people want peace and development. He said, UPA’s Govt’s to policy to provide seats and jobs under quota system will prove disastrous for the country; as such this idea should be dropped once for all. Merit should be given performance, he added.
Referring, the statement of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at Srinagar during his last visit about zero tolerance, Javedkar, said has demoralizes the security forces, who are fighting proxy war, thrust upon us by Pakistan. He said, the recent blast in Mumbai is the handy work of Pakistan.
