| Industrial workers stage protest | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sep 29: A protest demonstration was held against Industrial Units by Industrial Workers Union for their legal rights. Raj Kumar Secretary said that the concerned departments of the Laborer, Industries and Commerce are not seriously looking into the pending issues pertaining to them. Even after bringing to their notice any issues they turn deaf years towards the issue instead of addressing the same. Raj Kumar further said that the Industrial Units does not treat the local laborers at power with those from out side ones. In this context GM (DIC) was approached who agreed to solve their problems as early as possible, said Raj Kumar and assured that the ITI workers as well as worker working for the last 5 years will be considered as under skilled and unskilled.
