| From Pak, via Kathmandu, ultras land in Jammu lockup | | US Dollars, Pak air tickets recovered | | Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 29: In a surgically planned operation, a team of Jammu Police in association of the sleuths of Central Reserve Police Force today nabbed two militants who were reported to be on way from Pakistan via Nepal. Both are natives of Jammu and Kashmir and had been on arm training and other subversive assignments in Pakistan and occupied Kashmir for several years. Official sources said that on specific information from a reliable source about two militants of Hizbul Mujahedeen coming to Jammu from Pakistan to strengthen their outfit in Jammu, a joint team of Jammu police and 72 Battalion of CRPF laid special Nakas at various places in the evening hours today. At one of the places the Naka party intercepted two militants namely Abdul Jabbar Khan son of Sanaullah Khan, a resident of Bachhipura, Mazhama, Budgam and Shamim Ahmed Sheikh son of Ghulam Rasool Sheikh, a resident Baba Reshi, Tangmarg, Baramulla. From their possession the joint police team recovered 2700 US Dollars, a Pakistani national identity card, four Pakistan International Airlines flight boarding cards from Islamabad to Kathmandu, four cell phone sets and one Pakistani SIM card. The preliminary interrogation of these two terrorists reveals that they went across to Pakistan in 1990-1991 for specialized arms training. They underwent training in various camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. After training they remained a part of the decision-making of the outfit in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and played a central role in last two decades. On this a case FIR stands registered in Police Station Trikuta Nagar and the investigation is on.
