| Mufti to participate in draft committee meeting | | | Srinagar, October 1
The first meeting of the draft committee on self rule headed by recently dethroned PDP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Baig scheduled for October 3 will be among others participated by party's Chief Patron and former Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed who interestingly is not the member of the said committee.
Informed sources while disclosing this to revealed that Sayeed during the course of the deliberations will put forth his views on self rule in the context of his proposed US visit scheduled for October end this year. The meeting to be chaired by Muffar Hussain Baig, Chairman of the draft panel, will be participated by all those named members including party President Mehbooba Mufti, Gh Hassan Mir, Tariq Hameed Qarrah, Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari, Ab Aziz Zargar, Ved Mahajan, Sardar Rangil Singh, Haji Nisar Khan and Romesh Mottan.
The participants will mainly discuss blue print of self rule and its implications on the proposed US visit of party Chief Patron Mufti Mohd Sayeed. The draft proposal of self rule would be, according to PDP sources, discussed by the working committee, the meeting of which will be convened before making party's self rule document public.
