| Natrang Theatre Group in Frankfurt | | | Frankfurt (Germany), Sept 30- Natrang Theatre Group made a history by entering in the world’s most sought after theatre event ‘Frankfurt Internationals’. Natrang is the first theatre group from India which made it to this global event of theatre. Surprisingly all tickets of the show have already been booked and even people have registered names for interaction program with the director and the team. Earlier in the day the team arrived from Moscow and was received in a traditional reception at the Hotel Holiday Inn. Later the group was taken to the city tour of Frankfurt. Natrang is currently on an International tour with its most celebrated Dogri play ‘Ghumayee’ written and directed by Balwant Thakur. Natrang’s tour to Germany is supported by Indian Council for Cultural relations, Frankfurt Internationals and the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt. Natrang director has conceived the play Ghumayee in such a fashion that it transcends across the language barriers. Its original content, form, design and the color has been its strengths and have been hailed by the International audience. The organizers of the Frankfurt Internationals informed that not only Indians but Pakistanis are also expressing keenness to see the play and buy its DVDs. The fifteen member group of Natrang headed by Balwant Thakur include Suraj Singh, Anil Tickoo, Vikrant Sharma, Suresh Kumar, Pankaj Sharma, Sunit Kumar, Sat Salarbi, Tajasvi Sharma, Renu Sharma, Aarushi Thakur, Sumeet Sharma, Mohit Sharma, Pawan Verma , and Rohit Verma. The team is in its high spirits and is fully prepared to vibrate the Frankfurt International Theatre festival through the collective artistic and creative energy of the team and the blessings of the people of India in general and of the people of Jammu in particular
