Awareness program on HIV/AIDS

Rajouri, Sept 30- To generate awareness among the masses about high risk HIV/ AIDS and safe mother-child, Society for Environmental Protection and Human Rights (SEPHR) organized one day awareness- cum- exhibition program at Phalyana, Rajouri.
The camp among others was attended by Anganwari Workers, pregnant women, villagers, panchayat members, prominent villagers and NGOs
Mohammed Nazir a prominent villager was chief guest at the function
Expert lecture on HIV/AIDS was delivered by Nassir Khan an active social worker and National Youth Award winner. In his message he exhorted participants for not indulging into high risk behaviour and remaining faithful to their partners.
Neeru Counselor gave counseling to pegnant and other women and clarified various myths pertaining to HIV/AIDS. She also stressed upon pregnant women for safe hospital delivery to avoid possible infections and killers diseases.
