| 3 clinics sealed under PNDT Act in Jammu region | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , Sept 30: The Jammu health authorities sealed three illegally running clinics under Pre-Natal Sex Determination Test Act (PNDT) in Reasi and Kathua districts of Jammu and Kashmir, sources here today said.
‘’Based on specific information, a team from Directorate of Health Services, Jammu conducted surprise raids yesterday and sealed three ultra sound clinics under PNDT Act in twin districts of Jammu region,’’ sources this morning told .
Sources said two different teams were constituted and raided one of the clinics at Kathua and two in Reasi district, which were being run in violation of PNDT Act.
Several such clinics have were sealed during the last two days under PNDT Act in a drive launched by the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu.
