Jammu, Sep 30: Sleuths of vigilance department today arrested an assistant sub-inspector for demanding and accepting Rs 5000 as bribe in Reasi district.
Acting on a complaint, a trap was laid and assistant sub-inspector Manzoor Hussain posted at Mahore Police station in the district was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 from one Pushminder Singh, the spokesman said. A case has been registered and and the ASI taken into custody for further investigation.
