| BSF officer commits suicide in Samba | | |

A Sub-Inspector of BSF allegedly committed suicide at a forward post near the International Border in Ramgarh sector of Jammu, police said here today.
Reports said that Yashpal Singh of Punjab shot himself with his service weapon at Chalyari border out post in Ramgarh sector of Samba district yesterday. Further adding to it reports said he was immediately rushed to a hospital where doctors pronounced him brought dead. Police has registered a case and initiated inquest proceedings.
Meanwhile, BSF has also ordered a court of inquiry into the incident.
