Jammu, Oct 1: On world elders day, Disha an association of young creative persons, organized a rock fest in Jammu.
SSP Security Johny Williams was the chief guest for the event. This fest was conceived, organized and directed by Sumit Sharma president of Disha. The show started with individual performances. The youngest performing artist Vineet Puri a student of class 5th electrified the gathering with his amazing performance. Rumors Band performed cover version of “Summer of 69” and “Sweet Child of Mine”. Dazzling divas led by Ashima Mahajan, Pooja and Priyanka Chak mesmerized the audience with their glamorous stage presence and sensational vocal in ‘Superstar’. Solitude Saints with their Brit Pop numbers “morning glory”, “wonderwall” and “Live Forever” gave a new dimension to the event.
Mytha, backed by Abhijeet Pathania of Srishti on bass guitar set the stage on fire with their opening no. “turbo lover”. Then came “paranoid” of Black Sabbath, “sweet dreams” of Marlin Menson and “word up of gun” with their dose of adrenaline rush. Numbers like “smoke on water” and “breaking the law” took the audience to an all time high. Then began the meltdown with mellow, melodic numbers like “worth fighting for” and “hotel California”, culminating with “angel”. Large number of gathering were present on the occasion.
