| Forest hierarchy gets overhaul, Keshwan returns, is new PCCF | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: After years sarcastic ‘as is where is arrangement’, the government today effected a massive shakeup in the Forest Department from top to middle rungs. Jadgish Keshwan who has long been on central deputation has been brought back as Principal Chief Conservator of the Forests. Decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting held in Srinagar today.
Keshwan has replaced the incumbent Irshad Ahmed Khan who has been moved as Chief Wildlife Warden. Until now the post of Chief Wildlife Warden was held by RD Tiwari, who is also the Director of the prestigious State Forest Research Institute.
Chief Conservator of Forests Jammu, Abhay Kumar has been posted as Director Soil Conservation while AK Singh CCF Projects and Planning has been transferred and posted as CCF Forests Central.
Abdul Razaq Director Environment and Ecology has been transferred and posted as CCF Working Plan and Research. Ravi Kesar CCF Central has been transferred and posted as CCF (Director) Environment and Ecology.
Suresh Chugh Conservator of Forests Research has been transferred and posted as In-charge CCF (Forests Conservation Act) and Nodal Officer. SP Arya has been posted as In-charge CCF Project and Planning.
SC Sharma Project Coordinator Ujh has been transferred and posted as CCF Forests Jammu. Suraj Parkash Conservator of Forests Working Plan has been transferred and posted as In-charge CCF Settlement and Demarcation.
H. S. Slathia Nodal Officer has been transferred and posted as Project Coordinator Ujh.
U. Pachnanda has been posted as Conservator Forests, (Research). Shafiq Khan Conservator Forests South Circle has been transferred and posted as Regional Director Social Forestry Kashmir.
Manuraj Joint Director Soil Conservation Jammu has been transferred and posted in State Forest Corporation. LK Sharma CF Central Circle has been transferred and posted as CF Research and Trainings.
Manzoor Ahmad CF North Circle has been transferred and posted as CF Central.
M. J. Sharma CF Chenab Circle has been transferred and posted as Joint Director Forest Protection Force, Jammu.
Om Prakash Joint Director SFRI has been transferred and posted as CF Working Plan.
Neelu Gera has been posted as Joint Director SFRI (Headquarter).
Roshan Jaggi Joint Director Forest Protection Force Jammu has been transferred and posted as CF Agrostology. MA Tak has been posted as CF South Kashmir.
A. G. Hajam General Manager SFC has been transferred and posted as CF North Kashmir.
S. K. Gupta CF Agrostology has been transferred and posted as CF Chenab Circle.
N. P. Singh has been posted as PMU, IWDP. Ashok Kumar, PMU, IWDP has been ordered to report to Administrative Department for further posting.
Hafizullah Sidiqui Regional Director Social Forestry Kashmir’s Services has been placed at the disposal of State Forest Corporation.
R. S. Jasrotia has been posted as In-charge Joint Director Soil Conservation, Jammu. SK Khajuria CCF Settlement and Demarcation will report to Principal CCF till further orders.
