| Heaving firing on IB, 1 killed | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: Within ten days after serious violation of the ceasefire in Mendhar sector, the Pakistani Rangers today resorted to heavy firing along the International Border at Mandral post in RS Pura sector near here.
Sources said that the firing broke out around 9PM and was going till last reports poured in. BSF and Police sources said that the firing from other side of the International Border was clearly an attempt to push in the armed militants.
Sources said that one infiltrator was shot dead by the BSF troopers in fierce exchange of fire who identity was yet to be confirmed.
