| Jethmalani to appear for Nagar, brothers | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 2: As the Choudhary brothers –Nagar, Ujjagar and Rakesh –get on the defensive mode after days of hibernation, a leading criminal lawyer of the country and former Union Minister for Law, Ram Jethmalani is expected to be in Jammu anytime to defend them in Amandeep Singh murder and evidence destruction case.
The father and uncles of the main accused Jatinder Singh alias Raja have already hired the professional services of state’s leading senior lawyer and former Advocate General Mohammad Aslam Goni who along with a battery of advocates moved their bail application before a local court on Thursday.
Sources said that Nagar Singh and his brothers are reported to have hired the services of Ram Jethmalani who will be reaching Jammu shortly. The accused brothers, who have also been booked under the prevention of corruption act have already submitted in their pre-arrest bail application that they were willing to cooperate with the investigation but cast aspersions on the constitution of Special Investigation Team.
