DVM celebrates 143rd B’annivarsary of Sher-e-Duggar Lal Hans Raj ji

Duggar Vikas Manch (DVM), an umbrella organization of prominent social, non-political & business organizations of Jammu & Kashmir celebrated the 143rd Birth Anniversary of Lala Hans Raj Ji also known as “Shere Duggar” at Mubarakh Mandi Comlex, Jammu an Historic Place of Jammu & Kashmir State.
The function was presided by Ved Parkash Sharma, President of Dogra Brahaman Pratinidhi Sabha, Jammu while Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta attended the occasion as Chief Guest, Ashok Khajuria, MLA and Ravinder Sharma, MLC also were present as the Guests of Honour.
Yash Pal Gupta, President ACTA in his inaugural address paid rich tributes to Lala Hans Raj Ji and drew a brief sketch of qualities of Lala Ji as a social reformer who worked selflessly for the betterment of the society.
Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, sitting MLA paying rich tributes to Lala Hans raj Ji as a great reformer of society who selflessly served it and taught the different communities to organize themselves as smaller forces for their betterment. In his address he cautioned the Separatist Kashmiri leaders who always keep on shouting for the withdrawal of Indian Armed Forces from the valley of Kashmir. While appreciating the role of Indian Armed Personal who have always sacrificed their lives for saving the Kashmir and its people from the enemies. He also paid rich tributes to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi Ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji as 2nd Oct. is the Birth Anniversary of these two Great Leaders.
Ravinder Sharma MLC, while paying tributes to Lala Ji, told the gathering about the qualities of this great person as a true secular personality. Ashok Khajuria MLA paying rich tributes to Lala Ji, appreciated the role of Duggar Vikas Manch to organize & celebrate the occasions in the memory of Dogra Personalities by all the organizations jointly and not confining them to a particular community.
Dineshwar Singh Jamwal Convener of Duggar vikas Manch, while paying rich tributes to Lala Ji, also paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi and Lala Bahadur Shastri. He also paid tribute to Guru Valmiki Ji as this was also the Parkash Diwas of this great soul.
In his address he informed the august gathering about the reason to form this Duggar Vikas Manch and why Mubarakh Mandi was chosen to celebrate all these occasions, as there could be no better place than Mubarakh Mandi, which symbolizes with the identity and integrity of Jammuites.
Ved Parkash Sharma, speaking on the occasion highlighted the achievements of Lala Ji as a social reformer of the society.
Piran Ditta, Narayan Singh, Milkhi Ram Bhagat, Bansi Lal, Vinod Kr. Jain, Chander Mohan Sharma, Yudhvir Sethi, Sat Pal and Ram Nath Gandotra, Shakti Dutt Sharma, were also present on this occasion.
Romesh Gupta President of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha gave Vote of thanks.
