JAMMU, Oct 3: Giving practical shape to the teachings of the father of nation, Mahatma Gandhi J&K Pradesh Unit of Janta Dal (United) launched cleanliness drive of the surroundings of their head quarter at Panjbakhtar road Jammu. The activists undertook t he sweeping and cleanliness of the Panjbakhtar road Jammu and exhorted the shopkeepers and residents in the area to regularly maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of the areas and preserve its healthy environment. They also took pledge to follow the teaching of Gandhi Ji in practicing non violence in their day to day life and have love for all the human beings, irrespective of caste, creed, sub region and the country.
