| Aijaz Jan flags off Army Recruitment Rally | | | Early Times Report
Poonch Oct 3- Aijaz Ahmed Jan, Member J&K Legislative Assembly Poonch, today flagged off Army recruitment Rally in Poonch in presence of Gen R S Pradhan, GOC 25 Infantry Division, Rajouri and Brg. Sastish Dua Commander 93 Brigade Poonch.
About one thousand youth from Poonch and Rajouri Districts took part in the recruitment rally.
Speaking on the occasion Jan expressed his gratitude to the Indian Army for holding this recruitment rally which has been a long pending demand of the people of the this border area. He appreciated the role played by the Army in Poonch and also thanked the Army officers and Army personnel for their contribution in local development and launching various welfare schemes in this border area.
He said the rally evoked a good response from the youngsters and a large number of the candidates will turn up for the event. He also appreciated the help extended by the civil and police administration for making the recruitment drive a purposeful.
He also lauded the exemplary role of the 93 Brigade Poonch and thanked the Army personnel and Officers for their active support and cooperation to the people of Poonch at every odd time.
