Govt assures Junior Doctors

Srinagar Oct 3: Minister for Finance Abdul Rahim Rather and Minister for Medical Education, RS Chib jointly took stock of the demands raised by Junior Doctor Association (JDA) from both Srinagar and Jammu Divisions and other sister organizations of Doctors of Health and Medical Education department at a high level meeting held here today.
The meeting was convened in continuation of the meetings held earlier in connection with demands of the doctors related to their issue of pay anomalies.
The meeting discussed in detail the demands and it was decided that the issue will be resolved well before darbar move.
It is pertinent to mention here that the memorandas submitted by different association of doctors are being studied thoroughly by the Department o finance in order to finalize it on merits.
Among others the meeting was attended by Commissioner/Secretary Finance Department, Sudhanshu Pandey and Commissioner/Secretary Health & Medical Education department, Atal Dulloo.
