| KPS celebrated birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi, Lal Bahadur Shashtri | | | Early Times Report Kathua Sept 4: The students, staff and management of Kartar Public School, Barnoti, Kathua in collaboration with Triveni kala Kunj, Kathua celebrated birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, the great leaders of the nation by organizing the Multilingual Mushiara followed by the musical program by the students of kartar Public School today in the multipurpose hall of the school Gareeb Dass, SSP, Kathua District was the chief guest while Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Deputy Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages presided. S. Nirmaljit Singh Amn, Chairman, Kartar Educational Trust, Kathua and Harpreet Kaur, Principal, Kartar Public school were also present in the presidium. While speaking on the occasion, Gareeb Dass, SSP Kathua first of all congratulated the students, staff and the management of the school and the august audience on the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and Lal Bahadur Shastri, former Prime Minister of India. Pelivering his presidential address, Dr. Arvinder Singh Amn, Deputy Secretary, J&K Cultural Academy said that the students and young generation are the future citizens of the country and society and the kartar public school is doing great job to the nation by providing best environment to the students so that the students community should grow both physically and mentally which is an essential part of their total personality development. Earlier, the students of the school presented Saraswati Vandana followed by the tributes paid by the chief guest. In the beginning of the program the poets were honoured by the guest and a memento was also presented to the chief guest as a mark of respect and honour to the chief guest by the Triveni Kala Kunj and Kartar Educational Trust.
