| ‘Gow-Raksha’ campaign launched | | ‘Massive awareness program at Parade Ground on Oct 6 | | Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 4- To garner public support and make aware of the need to protect Cow in the country, Ragunath Pura unit of Yatra Samiti, under Manhant Rameshwar Dass ji of Purani Mandi Mandir and BJP State Secretary Yudhvir Sethi today performed pooja of Cow- the Go-mata- in connection with the country-wide program undertaken by Vishwa Mangal Go-Gram Yatra. On this occasion a signature drive was also launched in which people in hundreds thronged the venue and penned down their signatures in support of the objective. Mahant Rameshwar Dass, on the occasion, said that such signature campaigns are being organized through out India. He said through this campaign one crore signatures will be collected from different parts of the country and submitted to the President of India demanding enactment of laws to protect and declare Cow as National Animal. He further said that Vishwa Mangal Go-Gram Yatra, which started from Kurukshetra a few days ago, will reach Jammu on October 6 when a massive Awareness Program will be held at Parade Ground. Yudhvir Sethi said that Cow is not just an animal for Hindus but it has very special and respectable place in our Sanatan. Cow is like mother so it is duty of every one of us to do as much we can for the protection of Cow and utilize all our energy and resources to ensure that it is declared as our National Animal. He also stressed on the need to educate our young generations about the importance of Cow in our lives. He appealed the masses to come forward and be part of the noble cause launched by Vishwa Mangal Go-Gram Yatra and earn blessings for their families.
