| 4 DEAD in mishaps | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar Oct 4: Four persons including father- son duo died and six others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley on Sunday.
Police said that five persons including father-son duo were critically injured after a A TATA Sumo coming from Srinagar to Magam hit them at Kawoosa.
All the injured were rushed to JVC Srinagar where Ghulam Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Mohammad and his adopted son Zeeshan Ahmad Wani residents of Check-i-Kawoosa Magam succumbed to injuries. at Kawoosa Magam. Both the injured were rushed to JVC Srinagar where they succumbed to their injuries. Three more persons were injured in the incident.
The diver of the vehicle fled from the spot and the infuriated mob set the TATA Sumo on fire. Police have registered a case in this regard.
In another road accident one person died on spot when a Maruti Car hit him at Pattan Bazaar on National Highway. The deceased has been identified as Towseef Kudlal son of Hyder Kudlal resident of Kuadi Tangdar Police has registered a case in this regard.
In yet another mishap an Army vehicle bearing registration number ALS-070173048 driven by Inder Raj which was on way to Hawass Camp Sonamarag turned turtle near Neelgrath, resulting in on spot death of Constable Krishan Kumar No. 57565379 of 218 GR and injuries to another army personnel.
Meanwhile an Ambassador bearing registration number JK029-5138 hit and injured two women namely Mst Saleema wife of Mohammad Sidiq Dar and Mst Hajra wife of Ghulam Mohammad Dar resident of Takipora at Takipora Budgam. Both the injured women were hospitalized
